A new collaboration brings gentle breathing and movement practice to people living with dementia and to the family members and staff who care for them.
Together with partner organisations, we have begun offering adapted Breath-Body-Mind sessions for people living with dementia, their family carers and care-home staff.
The sessions are short, seated, and built around gentle movement and slow breathing that can be followed without instruction-heavy language. Carers learn the same practices, so the experience is shared rather than delivered.
โThe room settles within minutes. That calm stays with everyone โ residents and staff alike.โ
