Dr. Patricia Gerbarg

Patricia L. Gerbarg, MD, is Assistant Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at New York Medical College and a co-founder of Breath-Body-Mind. A Harvard-trained psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, she studies the effects of mind-body practices on stress-related conditions and has co-authored more than a hundred articles, book chapters and books, including The Healing Power of the Breath. She teaches Breath-Body-Mind courses and trainings for the general public, healthcare professionals and humanitarian programs worldwide.

Dr. Richard Brown
New York, United States
Richard P. Brown, MD, is Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University and a co-founder of Breath-Body-Mind. He has practised and taught mind-body disciplines for more than forty years and developed, with Dr. Gerbarg, the Breath-Body-Mind programs now used in disaster relief, healthcare and community settings on six continents. He lectures internationally and co-authored The Healing Power of the Breath.

Yifat Peres is a senior Breath-Body-Mind teacher based in Israel, working with communities affected by conflict and prolonged stress.
